Two things it does that the input alone doesn't guarantee: category-aware prompts (jewelry, home decor, and other Etsy categories get different structural guidance, not one generic template) and 10 distinct tones, several written specifically for Etsy's seller voice rather than generic marketing copy. The free tier gives 3 generations on day one, then 1 a day, no card on file; the Pro plan is $9/mo for 300 generations.

ListifyAI

ListifyAI is a listing generator with three paid tiers ($9, $19, $29/mo as of this writing) and a limited free trial. Its core generation flow is comparable to TagCraft's: photo or description in, listing out. It does not publicly document category-specific prompt handling the way TagCraft does.

ListsGenie

ListsGenie is a newer entrant, explicitly marketed as an alternative to using a research tool like eRank to also write listings, at a $9/mo starting price. Like ListifyAI, its generation flow is photo/description in, listing out, without publicly documented category-specific handling.

What actually differs

At the $9/mo entry tier, all three are priced the same. The differentiators are generation quality controls: TagCraft's category-aware prompts and 10-tone system are built specifically around Etsy's listing conventions (handmade, vintage, craft-supply categories all get different framing) rather than a single general-purpose prompt reused across every product type. If you sell in more than one Etsy category, or want listings that don't all read in the same voice, that's the practical difference to test for, not the sticker price.

The most reliable way to compare output quality is to run the same product photo through each tool's free or trial tier and read the results side by side, since generation quality is the one variable a pricing table can't show. That said, if you sell in a single category and just want a listing written fast, any of the three will do the job at the same $9/mo price. The category-aware prompts are the reason to pick TagCraft specifically, not a reason to avoid the others.
